Our Story
Founded in 2019, TheGreekend started with a simple idea: keep Greek-American young adults connected to what’s happening in their community. Today, it’s the leading platform for Greek life events, not just across the U.S., but around the world.
Our mission is to celebrate and carry forward Greek-American culture by uniting young adults through events, traditions, and shared experiences.
From Greek festivals and weekend retreats to concerts, mixers, beach parties, and even the occasional island hop, if it’s happening, it’s on TheGreekend. We are building a movement that keeps our culture vibrant, visible, and connected.
What began in the U.S. has grown into a global community, and we’re only getting started. With new destinations, fresh experiences, and more ways to connect on the horizon, the best is yet to come.
As our community grew, so did our mission. In 2026, we launched TheGreekend Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the next generation through scholarships, cultural programming, and community-driven philanthropy. The Foundation ensures that our impact reaches beyond events—strengthening, uplifting, and investing in Greek-American youth around the world.
Our team works around the clock to keep the παρέα plugged in coast to coast, country to country, always finding new ways to bring Greeks together.
