Join YAL Baltimore for a day of worship and fellowship with a trip to the miraculous myrrh-streaming icon of Panagia Kardiotissa in Taylor, PA. 

Schedule includes paraklesis to the Panagia, veneration of the icon, anointing with the holy myrrh, and Q&A with Fr. Mark Leasure. After the visit, we will all grab food together in the area.   

Where: St George's Orthodox Church in Taylor, PA (743 S Keyser Ave, Taylor, PA 18517) - Please note, this is about a 3 hr drive from Baltimore

Timing: Meet there at 12:30 PM, or meet at Annunciation Cathedral by 9 AM for car pooling. 

Brief information about the icon: The history of the icon begins with a visit of the Myrrh - Streaming Iveron Icon of the Theotokos from Hawaii to St. George’s in October of 2011. Fr. Mark, the pastor of the local parish wiped his parish ’s copy of the icon with cotton that was soaked with miraculous myrrh from the Hawaiian icon. Shortly thereafter the parish copy of the icon also started to stream myrrh. Since that time and to this day it has been abundantly streaming holy myrrh and performed countless of miracles.

Join the National Hellenic Student Association at our annual beach clean-up in Glystra-Lagonissi Beach, Greece. Help make a difference in Greece and improve the environment.

There will be FREE bus transportation from Athens to/from the beach as well as a FREE lunch and t-shirt.
